No. Jayce... enjoys it. The crowds, the speeches. The events. His face on cups and airships. [He huffs.] Being called "Piltover's golden boy", and "The man of tomorrow".
Yeah. Sort of. She's the "golden child" too, she's special. And she's a people-pleaser on top of it, so of course she gets all the credit and adoration for everything. The whole team could do something and the victory was all thanks to Adora, nevermind any of the rest of us.
Even now that she's gone, she's still the favorite.
There have been tensions between the Undercity and Piltover. Escalating violence. Jayce was made a member of Piltover's ruling council - some of our work had been stolen, and it became his role to safeguard it against further misuse.
His opinion of the people of the Undercity - and the danger they could pose - became darker. He would talk about us as though we were some kind of unhinged threat, forgetting that I am from the Undercity.
A member of the council asked us to weaponize our work. I refused. I thought it was ridiculous - to take what we had done, turn it into something that could take the lives that we'd been trying to help...

I don't. And I wouldn't.
[The why, though, he leaves alone.]
Did someone get all the credit for you?

Even now that she's gone, she's still the favorite.
[ The tip of her tail twitches in irritation ]
You trust this Jayce guy?

[He winces at little at the honesty in that answer, and sighs.]
I used to. Mostly. We've had... differences.
Do you miss her?

What kind of differences?

Jayce... considered it. And then did it.

. . . Sounds like what the Horde does ]
Did you tell him not to?

We had already gone our separate ways. And didn't talk again until after it was already over.
... we reconciled, then. But that was only a day before I woke up here.

How the heck did you reconcile something like that?
