[ She slinks around the still mostly-unused and torn up bed to fish about in a corner, producing two bottles of liquor left over from her own recent meltdown. ]

Pffhahaha! I don’t have fun. I have bad days and worse days, try to keep up.

Yeah, but the alcohol makes that all fuzzy, which is the only good thing about it.

[ Moves like she's gonna toss Kohime one of the bottles.

Pauses.

. . . Just holds it out to her instead.

(Is an entire bottle of hard liquor what you should give to an already drunk person? No.) ]

[She takes it and knocks it back like it’s water — she’s getting real good at this and it’s probably fine? Probably???]

[ Taking a drink from hers much more slowly, if only due to the memory of her last hangover. ]

She sets her bottle aside to pull out her phone, quickly checking profiles, fin!Adora's first (y'know . . .) and then Heart!Adora-- ]

They couldn't think of anything to do with her for who knows how long and stuck her in some warehouse, and now they suddenly need her somewhere else?!

At least yours actually sticks around.

[It comes out bitter and miserable which is exactly the feelings she was trying to drown in booze, so time to take another drink because alcohol poisoning is the only way to go here, clearly. ]

[ She pockets her phone more harshly than necessary, like it's somehow the phone's fault Adora's gone.

Then she picks up her bottle and takes another swig, dropping onto the barren bed. ]

. . . I accidentally threatened her. A little. Right before she left, apparently.

[Glancing up at her, a little confused. ]

I told her she needed to start keeping her promises for a change.

[Frowning a little, and she shifts to face Sabre a little more fully. ]

Why? What did she do now?

Nothing yet.

But . . . she told me more about what she actually did back home. I knew she left. But I didn't know she actually joined the princesses.

[She shifts, frowning, as she tries to work through what's bothering Sabre here.]

Well. . . yeah.

She decided the Horde was bad all along after hanging out in some dumb village for a day and she defected to join the Princesses. I mean, she even became one, with a dorky tiara and cape and everything.

[ Listen there's betrayal and then there's Turbo Betrayal ]

It doesn't make any sense. Why then? Nothing happened at Thaymor that was different from how the Horde always operates. And she says she doesn't even know why.

And-- And who's to say the one from my world wouldn't come to the same stupid decision?

[She breaks out into borderline hysterical laughter, blinking rapidly (not that she's tearing up or anything, this is something that happened?? a long time ago?????? and definitely isn't still devastating???????????)

And then, please hold, she needs to take a gulp or several from the alcohol again.]

But she didn't. She didn't. So maybe A~dor~a~ isn't the problem, right? What're you getting so upset about, you're fine, so shut up.

[...And this is the same ugly feeling that bubbled up when she first found out how their timelines split, during GM, with Shadow Weaver. But it's definitely still totally fine and nothing that even more drinking can't fix.]
